Free Sensory-Friendly Halloween Event Brings Alpacas and Trick-or-Treating to Denver
Families of children with autism and other sensory needs are invited to celebrate Halloween at Alpaca Fest: Trick-or-Treat, a free, sensory-friendly event Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon to 4 p.m. at Context ABA, 320 S. Sherman St. in Denver.
Hosted by Alpaca Health and Context ABA, the event offers a welcoming alternative to traditional trick-or-treating, allowing children to enjoy Halloween activities at their own pace in a more comfortable environment.
Families can meet live alpacas, collect treats in custom trick-or-treat bags, enjoy hot cocoa and pastries, and take breaks as needed. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Alpaca Health helps families of autistic children connect with care and resources.
