Restoring, Replenishing & Creating Community Through History
Join Sister-to-Sister, Inc. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 4 p.m. for “Restoring, Replenishing, & Creating Community Through History”, an inclusive and meaningful gathering hosted at the Zions Senior Center (5151 E. 33rd Ave, Denver).
This event brings us together to explore how history – particularly the lived experience of African-American communities – serves as a record of what was, and a catalyst for healing, connection and community regeneration.
The program features the Tuskegee Airmen Herbert L. Hooks Jones Chapter in a reenactment and meet-and-greet with Col. Harvey, offering a powerful bridge between past achievements and present inspiration.
Attendees will also enjoy a catered reception by Redcup Catering, providing an opportunity to network, share stories, and build community in an afternoon of engagement, learning and fellowship.
Whether you join in-person for just $10 or participate virtually at no cost, you’re invited to add your voice to this gathering of memory-making and restorative action.
In a time when communities are seeking to reclaim narrative power, this event invites us to reflect, replenish and act together. It will honour history as a living foundation for the communities we want to build.
Show up ready to engage with intergenerational wisdom, meaningful connections and the possibility of collective healing. Please RSVP and bring friends, colleagues and relatives to continue building community that remembers and renews.
